So, yesterday was officially the end of your first school year, 2014-2015. The year ended with Cikal Appreciation Day, in which you and the other student, and us with the other parents, thank the school teacher and staff, including security and general affair.

Welcome and enjoy the holiday with your Lego and Firetruck.
I just would like to say, what a year of your first school. Dad and Mom still remember the first day we dropped you at school. You were excited with the big playground, and busy yourself with the big blackboard in the backyard.
As the first time school kid, you were doing good. After few minutes sitting with you in the class, Dad told you: “I need to go to office. Enjoy your school.” And you wave Dad goodbye.
As time passed, challenges started to pop up. Starting from getting you ready in the morning with the ritual of playing Lego and Play Doh “Ice Cream”. Then, waiting for you to have breakfast, sometimes in the car. And the biggest challenge is to get you off the car into the class. There are times when you happily go with the security, or in some other time with Dad. But for most of the time, you only want to go with Bu Dinda or Pak Jul. Why is that? I think that question will remain unanswered.
But perhaps, the best of all is moment of joy and proud that Mom and Dad have during the school year. Your performance during Playground of Papua, Class Assembly, and Easter Assembly are among them. And also, the comments from your teacher on how independent you are. “Ethan eat by himself, wash his hands, and tidy up the food by himself”, said Bu Amel in the last 3-way conference.
Dad also happy to see you swim with your friends. Apparently, you really enjoy the swimming pool more than some of your friends.
Eventually, Mom and Dad would like to hear, whether you are happy or not with school. We wish that you enjoy your first year, and enjoy your holiday.
