First of all, let Mom and Dad say Happy Birthday to you, and congratulation for reaching 6 years. We hope you had a great time with us, and wish you a bright future with a lot of fun ahead.
The celebration started when Dad came home after the morning 2XU run. “Where is my presents?”, you asked once you see Dad coming out of car. “Not so fast. I have your cake BTW”, Dad told you. With so much enthusiasm. you followed Dad who took the cake inside. “A firetruck!”, you yelled. “And with a gigantic hydrant on top,” Mom commented.
Unfortunately the team in Cempaka Putih can’t make it to your birthday lunch. So we open the cake at home. Mom set up the candles, and after singing the Happy Birthday song, we blew the candles.
And then, come the presents, the one that you most waited. One by one, you opened your presents, a Lego Firetruck, a sets of firetruck, a Hot Wheels car transporter, and a Power Ranger Dino Charger Blaster. The blaster had its own story. Mom bought the blaster when you go crazy with Power Ranger Dino Charger. We decided to keep it for present.
Then we went for lunch at Ikan Bakar Cianjur. It was at your request, which left us wondering. Ikan Bakar is never been your favorite food. Later during lunch, we found out why. “This is where we had lunch in my birthday last year”, you said, while pointing to the table near the pond, where we sit last year. Such a good memory you have.
We close the day at home, where you constructed the LEGO firetruck by yourself, following the instruction. Happy Birthday dear Ethan. Grow Smarter and Wiser, but don’t grow up so fast.
