Good morning Ethan. We are your Grace and Benny, and we are happen to be your Mom and Dad.
Mom and Dad meet for the first time at sometimes in 2004, the date is still being disputed by both of us. We were young, energetic, and met at a meet up of food-loving and travel-loving community called Jalansutra.
But we didn’t start dating back then. Both of us had our own boyfriend and girlfriend back then. So, after the first meet up, and several others occasion, Mom and Dad went on our separate way. Dad took a Master degree in 2006, and Mom focused on writing for Jalansutra community, and become one of their star celebrity.
It wasn’t until 2008 that we met each other again, when our mutual friend asked for help for her wedding day. After the wedding day, Mom and Dad went out a couple of time, coming to Jalanstura’s event, going to the movie, or watching opera performances. It didn’t take long for us to start dating.
We enjoyed the time we were together. We took the world one trip at one time, going to places where we never imagined going before, such as visiting Tsunami place in Aceh, Watching Krakatau Eruption, Volunteering in Bali, and many more. You can see our adventure in our Pre-Wedding book.
When Mom and Dad decided to get married, we think the ordinary Pre-Wedding book is too ordinary. So we create our own, based on our adventure in the world.
Mom and Dad got married on 23 January 2010. And we still take the world one trip at one time after we get married, Backpacking to Penang, Visiting World Expo in Shanghai with both Grandmas, and Scuba Diving in Bali.
And then sometime in April 2011, Mom found out that she is 5 weeks pregnant. You was born on 26 November 2011, and since then, the world has got better. There are 3 of us now to take the world, one trip at one time.
